LOVE
What is Love? A great feeling? A deep Desire? Something that causes blindness??? I LOVE my car.. I LOVE my wife…I make LOVE…I LOVE pepperoni pizza?!? We get a lot of mileage out of that four letter word. NO wonder people are confused about real LOVE.
The Greeks can help us out. They have 3 main words for love. Relationship LOVE is best described by the combination of those three kinds of Love. First; Romantic or physical love is part of it. There is power in a simple touch. Second there is the Love of friendship where you want to hang out together and share things with each other. The third is possible most important, is the Love of commitment. This is unconditional love, a choice saying my love is not based on your actions. Put them all together and you have real LOVE. A marriage without any one of these is doomed to fail. Make sure you include all three kinds of Love in your marriage. <>< Mark
